Un edificio o lugar donde se llevan animales para matarlos y obtener carne; también llamado matadero.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Es más formal o técnico que 'slaughterhouse', pero ambos significan lo mismo. Se usa principalmente en contextos industriales, agrícolas o en noticias. No se usa para plantas de procesamiento de aves o pescado.
