表示“许多（可数事物）”，和“many”类似，但带有轻微强调。

口语里常用，比"many"更强调数量大。只能用于可数名词（如“a good many students”），不能用于不可数名词。比单独用“many”更有表达力。

There were a good many people at the meeting.
