Definition

ひどく壊れた物や場所、例えば車や船、建物など。または大きな事故のことも指します。

名詞と動詞の両方で使う。精神的にボロボロな人にも使える（例：'I was a wreck'）。自動車事故はアメリカ英語で 'car wreck' がよく使われる。

The old ship is now a wreck at the bottom of the sea.
