ある人がいつも行う習慣やいつもの行動を意味します。主に文語や文学作品で使われます。

'wont' は日常会話ではほとんど使われず、主に文学やフォーマルな文で登場します。'won't'（will not）と混同しないよう注意しましょう。よく使われる表現は「as is his/her wont」です。

He greeted her in his usual wont.
