Definition

何かが気になったり、もっと知りたいと思うこと。あるいは、はっきりしないことで好奇心を持つこと。

丁寧に質問するとき「I was wondering if...」のように使われることが多い。“wander（歩き回る）”と間違えないよう注意。進行形（〜ている形）でよく使う。

I am wondering what time the train will arrive.

電車が何時に来るのか**気になっています**。

She was wondering about the answer to the question.

彼女はその質問の答えについて**気になっていた**。

We are wondering if you can help us.

私たちはあなたが手伝ってくれるか**気になっています**。

I'm wondering if you have any plans for the weekend.
