Definition

किसी बात के बारे में सोचकर जानना चाहना; किसी चीज़ को लेकर जिज्ञासा या अनिश्चितता होना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर विनम्र प्रश्नों में ('I was wondering if...') आता है। यह जिज्ञासा या अनिश्चितता दिखाता है। 'wander' (घूमना) से न मिलाएँ। आमतौर पर प्रोग्रेसिव टेंस में उपयोग होता है।

I am wondering what time the train will arrive.

मैं **सोच रहा हूँ** कि ट्रेन कितने बजे आएगी।

She was wondering about the answer to the question.

वह सवाल का जवाब **सोच रही थी**।

We are wondering if you can help us.
