Definition

它是“wonder”的過去式，表示因為想知道答案而思考某事，或對某事感到好奇、略有疑問。

常和 'if'、'whether'、'why'、'what'、'who'、'how' 連用，如 'I wondered if...'、'She wondered why...'. 它常表示安靜的好奇、禮貌的間接提問或內心想法。不要和 'wandered' 混淆，後者表示四處遊蕩。
