Definition

ウィザードは、物語や伝説で魔法の力を持つ人（特に男性）です。まれに何かに非常に熟練している人にも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にファンタジーや子供向けの物語で使われます。男性が多く、女性の場合は「魔女」と呼ばれることが多いです。‘tech wizard’のように専門家を意味することもありますが、あまり一般的ではありません。
