Definition
Bir olayı ya da eylemi doğrudan gözlemlemek ya da buna tanık olmak. Ayrıca gördükleriyle ilgili resmi tanıklık yapmak anlamında da kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Önemli veya resmi olaylarda ('witnessing a crime', 'witnessing history') kullanılır. Gündelik şeyleri izlemek için kullanılmaz.
