Definition

出来事や行動を実際に自分の目で見ること。自分が見たことについて証言する意味もある。

重要な出来事や公式な場面（例：'witnessing a crime', 'witnessing history'）で多く使われる。テレビなど日常的な「見る」とは異なる。
