希望某件事情發生或是真的，通常是困難或不可能的事。也可以表示對某事的願望或希望。

經常用於禮貌或希望的表達，如“祝你好運”。常用詞組有“希望某事”、“祝某人好運”、“許願”。不要與表示可能性的“hope”混淆。wish可以是虛擬或不可能的情況。
