Definition

Wide 表示某物从一边到另一边的距离很大。它也可以表示范围广，包含很多不同的事物，或影响很多人。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

表示实际宽度时，常和 'road'、'door'、'river'、'street' 等名词搭配。它也常出现在 'a wide range of'、'worldwide' 和 'wide open' 等表达中。不要和 'broad' 完全混同：两者意思接近，但在日常表示尺寸时，'wide' 更常见。
