Definition

すべての部分が揃っていて欠けていない状態。ひとつ全体、または全員を指す場合に使います。

'the whole day', 'whole family', 'whole truth' のように使う。'holy'（神聖な）と間違えないように。強調したい時にも使う（例：'the whole point'）。

I ate the whole pizza by myself.

私は**全部の**ピザを一人で食べました。

She spent the whole day reading her book.
