Definition

渦巻きは、物を中心に引き込む強くて速い水の流れのことです。また、混乱した状況をたとえて言う時にも使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に自然の水流に使われますが、「感情の渦」のように比喩的にも使われます。「ヴォルテックス（渦）」とは区別してください。
