馬が高い声で鳴く音や、その鳴き声。名詞と動詞の両方として使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「whinny」はほぼ馬や似た動物にしか使われません。物語や詩、動物の鳴き声を説明する際によく出てきます。「neigh」とも似ていますが、より一般的な表現です。
