Definition

車椅子は、歩くことが困難またはできない人が移動するための車輪付きの椅子です。自分で動かしたり、他の人に押してもらったりします。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常的で中立的な言葉です。「車椅子を使う」「車椅子で生活する」「車椅子対応」などの表現で使われます。人を「車椅子だけ」で表現せず、「車椅子ユーザー」と表すのが望ましいです。
