黃蜂

Definição

一種身體細長、腰部很細的飛行昆蟲，通常有黃色和黑色條紋。黃蜂會螫人，常見於花園或戶外食物附近。

'Wasp' 和 'bee'（蜜蜂）不同：黃蜂身體比較細長，通常較兇猛，可以螫人多次。常見搭配有“黃蜂窩”、“黃蜂螫傷”。不要和蜜蜂或胡蜂（hornet）混淆。
