Definition
'워시아웃'은 어떤 일이 완전히 실패했을 때나, 비나 홍수로 도로나 다리가 무너졌을 때 쓰는 표현입니다.

주로 영국식 영어에서, 행사가 비로 엉망이 됐을 때나 물로 인해 구조물이 파손된 경우에 씁니다. 'wash out'(동사)와 혼동하지 않게 주의하세요.
