Definition

ボランティア活動とは、報酬を期待せずに自分の時間やスキルを使って他人や社会のために貢献することです。学校や病院、地域イベントなど様々な場面で行われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に非公式または中立的な場面で使う語です。「施設でボランティア活動する」など「〜で」と使うことが多いです。強制や有給の仕事には使用しません。
