音楽で「ボーカル」とは歌う部分、特にメインボーカルのパフォーマンスを指します。

会話やスピーチには使わず、主に音楽で歌声や歌唱部分を指します。「lead vocals」はメインボーカル、「backing vocals」はコーラスです。必ず複数形で使われます。
