Definition

ऐसा अधिकार या लाभ जिसे किसी से छीना नहीं जा सकता, खासकर जब समय या प्रयास जैसी कुछ शर्तें पूरी हो जाती हैं। सामान्यतः कानूनी अधिकार, संपत्ति या वित्तीय लाभ के लिए उपयोग होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Vested' प्रायः औपचारिक, कानूनी या वित्तीय संदर्भ में (जैसे 'vested interest') आता है। 'Vested interest' मतलब किसी का स्वार्थ। 'Vest' (जैकेट) से संबंधित नहीं है। प्राय: 'vested in/with' में आता है।
