Definition

詩句是指詩歌中的一行，或是組成詩歌或歌曲的一個小段。在宗教經典如聖經或可蘭經中，詩句也是指編號的段落。

「Verse」常用於詩歌、歌曲和宗教經典。詩歌和歌曲裡與 chorus（副歌）相對。在宗教語境下是有編號的小段。不要將 'verse'（詩句/段落）和 'chapter'（章）混淆。
