静脈（葉・石などの）葉脈・筋

Definition

静脈は体内で血液を心臓へ戻す管です。また、石や葉、鉱物中に見られる筋や模様のことも指します。

主に血管（静脈）に使われますが、葉や石の筋模様にも使います。'artery'（動脈）と区別。'in the same vein'は「同じく」の意味で使われます。

The doctor can see your veins on your arm.

医者はあなたの腕の**静脈**が見えると言っています。
