Definition

ベジタリアンとは、健康や倫理、環境などの理由で肉を食べない人のことです。 野菜や果物、穀物、乳製品や卵などを主に食べます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「ベジタリアン」は普通の表現です。卵や乳製品も食べない場合は「ヴィーガン」と言います。名詞にも形容詞にも使えます： 'ベジタリアン料理'、 '彼女はベジタリアンです'。
