ある状況の良い面や利点を指します。物の上側という意味もありますが、日常会話ではあまり使われません。

「the upside of ...」「there's an upside」などの表現でよく使われます。「upside down（逆さま）」や「階上」とは別の意味です。主に「良い面」の意味で使われます。

The upside of this job is the flexible schedule.
