上部の上の

Definition

位置や階層が上にあること、または物や体の上部を指します。建物や物体の上側を説明するときによく使います。

主に形容詞的に使い、『上部の棚』や『上の階』など説明やラベルで用いられます。日常会話では『上』や『上の階』などを使う場合が多いです。対義語は『lower（下部の）』。

The upper shelf is too high for me.
