견고하지 않고 쉽게 변하거나 무너질 수 있는 상태. 사물, 상황, 감정 등 다양한 대상에 사용할 수 있다.

'unstable ladder', 'unstable economy', 'emotionally unstable' 등 사물이나 추상적 개념 모두에 사용됨. 'unsafe'와는 구별됨.

The table is unstable and wobbles when you touch it.
