「不快な」または「不愉快な」は、楽しくなく、心地よくもない状態を表します。人や気持ち、におい、体験、状況などに使われ、不快感や嫌な感じを与えます。

「不快な」「不愉快な」は中立的な形容詞で、「not nice」より強く「awful」「terrible」ほどではありません。「smell」「experience」「conversation」などいろいろな名詞とよく使います。人の性格なら「unfriendly」の方が適しますが、「unpleasant」は広く違和感や不快な影響にも使えます。
