鍵がかかっているものや制限されているものを開けたり、アクセスできるようにすること。

実際の鍵（ドアや車）やデジタル機器（スマホ、アカウント）に使います。また「unlock potential（可能性を引き出す）」のように比喩的にも利用されます。「unblock（妨げを取り除く）」とは異なります。
