जो होने की संभावना नहीं है या उम्मीद नहीं की जाती; शायद नहीं होगा या सही नहीं है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Unlikely' का उपयोग जब कभी किसी घटना या तथ्य की संभावना बहुत कम हो, तब किया जाता है। अक्सर 'It is unlikely that...' के साथ आता है। यह 'impossible' से कम कठोर है। 'Improbable' से न मिलाएं (अर्थ समान है)।
