Underdog هو شخص أو فريق لا يتوقع له الفوز في مسابقة أو يكون في وضعية أضعف.

شائع في الرياضة والقصص التحفيزية. يستعمل لإبداء التعاطف مع الطرف الأضعف. يُقال كثيراً 'أشجع الـ underdog'.
