ある物の下に位置したり、何かに覆われている状態。年齢や条件、状況の範囲内にある場合にも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「under the table」「under pressure」などの表現で頻出。年齢や状況にも使われる。水平移動にはあまり使わない。形式的には「below」を使うこともある。
