Definition

潰瘍は、皮膚や胃、口の中など体内にできる治りにくい傷で、痛みを伴うことがあります。

主に医療用語として使われ、「胃潰瘍」「口内潰瘍」などがよくあります。小さな切り傷や普通の傷には使いません。症状が複数または継続している場合に複数形が使われます。
