Definition

ひもやロープなどで物をしっかりと結びつけたり、固定したりする行為。物同士を結ぶ目的で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に実際の物を結びつける際に使い、『tying shoelaces』で“靴ひもを結ぶ”のように使います。抽象的な意味ではあまり使いません。
