Definition

কোনো কিছু দুইবার ঘটলে বা ঘটানো হলে, বা পরিমাণ দ্বিগুণ হলে বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘twice a week’, ‘twice as much’ এর মতো পরিমাণ বা তুলনা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। তিন বা তার বেশি হলে যথাক্রমে ‘three times’, ‘four times’ বলুন। সাধারণত ক্রিয়া বা তুলনার পরে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
