Definition

“twas” 是 “it was” 的古語、詩歌式縮寫，常見於詩歌、歌曲或歷史文學中。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

在日常英語極少使用，只有在詩歌和仿古文學中才會出現。現代英文除非為了模仿古風，一般不會用 “'twas”。
