Definition

タキシードとは、パーティーや結婚式などで男性が着るフォーマルな黒または濃い色のジャケットです。多くは蝶ネクタイと一緒に着用します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「タキシード」は複数形で、通常はフォーマルな場所限定で着用され、普段着には使いません。アメリカ英語でよく使われ、イギリスでは「dinner jacket」とも言います。必ず蝶ネクタイなどと合わせます。
