Definition

改札機（ターンスタイル）は、回転式のバーが付いたゲートで、一度に一人だけ通れるようになっています。主に駅やスタジアム、施設の出入口などで使われます。

「改札機」は基本的に複数形で使います。駅やイベント会場など混雑を制御する場面でよく使われます。厳格な出入り管理を表す比喩としても用いられます。
