芝生縄張り

Definition

芝生は根でつながった草と土の層を指します。また、「縄張り」という意味で、自分たちのエリアや勢力範囲を表すときにも使います。

スポーツ用の『人工芝（artificial turf）』や、『自分たちの縄張り（our turf）』のように使います。『turf war』は縄張り争いの意味です。

The soccer field has artificial turf.
