Definición

「メロディー」とは、簡単な音楽の一節や曲の主旋律のこと。動詞としては、楽器やラジオ、エンジンなどを正しく音を出すように調整する意味です。

名詞「tune」は口語で耳に残るメロディーによく使います。「tune in to」で放送を聞く・見る、「tune a guitar」で楽器を調律、「tune-up」でエンジンや楽器の点検準備の意味になります。「tone」（音色）とは別の語です。
