Definition

টিউমার হচ্ছে শরীরের কোষগুলো অস্বাভাবিকভাবে বেড়ে গিয়ে যে দলা বা গাঠ তৈরি হয়। এটি কখনো নিরীহ (বিনাইন), আবার কখনো মারাত্মক (ম্যালিগন্যান্ট) হতে পারে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'টিউমার' সাধারণত চিকিৎসা এবং বৈজ্ঞানিক আলোচনায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি সবসময় 'ক্যান্সার' বোঝায় না—'benign tumors' মানে নিরীহ এবং 'malignant tumors' মানে ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ। 'cyst' বা 'growth' এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
