Jalar algo de forma rápida y fuerte. Como sustantivo, también puede referirse a un barco pequeño y potente que remolca otros barcos.

'Tug' suele referirse a tirones cortos y fuertes (no arrastrar lento). Como sustantivo, también es 'remolcador' (barco). Se usa en frases como 'tug of war'. No confundir con 'pull', que es más general.
