拉拖船

Definition

快速用力地拉某物。作名詞時，還可以指用來拖船的小而有力的船。

“Tug” 通常指短促、有力的拉，不是慢慢地拉。名詞時也指“拖船”。常見於“tug of war”（拔河）等詞語。不要和“pull”（更廣泛）搞混。

Please tug the rope gently.

請輕輕地**拉**這根繩子。

He gave the door a hard tug to open it.
