Definition

Trunk 可以指樹木粗大的主幹、汽車後方用來放東西的置物空間，或用於存放、搬運物品的大而結實的箱子。

在美式英語裡，汽車後方的置物空間通常說 "trunk"；在英式英語裡通常說 "boot"。常見搭配有 "tree trunk"、"car trunk" 和 "storage trunk"。另外還有一個較少見但常見於動物語境的意思：大象的鼻子也叫 "trunk"。
