Usage Notes (Japanese)

「trousers」はイギリス英語で使われ、アメリカ英語では「pants」と呼ばれます。ショートパンツや他の種類のズボンには使いません。「a pair of trousers」と数えます。フォーマルまたは普段着で使われます。
