三个孩子或动物同时由同一个母亲出生。音乐中也指在两个音符时间内演奏的三个音符组。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

常用于描述同一胎出生的三个孩子或动物。几乎都用复数“三胞胎”，很少指单个。音乐中，三连音表示三音符在两音符内弹奏。不要与“双胞胎”或“四胞胎”混淆。
