木（き）

Definition

木は、堅い幹と枝、葉を持つ背の高い植物です。長い年月をかけて成長し、森や公園、庭によくあります。

「木」は数えられる名詞で、「一本の木」「二本の木」などと数えます。「木を植える」「木を切る」「木に登る」「並木道」などにもよく使われます。「木材（wood）」とは区別して使ってください。
