小道痕跡

Definition

特に自然の中で人や動物が歩く小道や道。また、何かが通った後に残る跡や痕跡も指します。

‘trails’は主に自然の中の道や、小道を指しますが、何かの痕跡にも使います。'trial'（試験、裁判）とは混同しないように。よく使う表現：'nature trails', 'leave trails'。

We walked along the forest trails.

私たちは森の**小道**を歩きました。

The animals left trails in the snow.

動物たちは雪の中に**痕跡**を残しました。

Many hikers use these mountain trails.

多くのハイカーがこれらの山の**小道**を使っています。
