交易員是指買賣商品或金融產品（如股票、貨幣）的人或企業，通常以獲利為目的。

“Trader”可泛指做買賣的人，但在金融領域多指從事股票、外匯等金融資產買賣的人。勿與“merchant”（店主）或“dealer”（有時指非法販賣者）混淆。常見詞有“股票交易員”、“外匯交易員”等。
