Definition

무언가를 별 생각 없이 만지작거리거나 진지하지 않게 생각하는 것.

'toying with'처럼 'with'와 함께 자주 쓰며 진지하지 않음을 나타냄. 어린이 장난감 놀이에는 사용하지 않음. 가볍게 생각하거나 상대를 놀리는 뉘앙스가 있을 수 있음.

He was toying with his pen during the meeting.

그는 회의 중에 펜을 **만지작거리고 있었다**.
